Communication Strategies Used by English Lecturer in EFL Classroom Interaction Second Semester at STKIP Taman Siswa Bima

This research was aimed to find out the kinds of communication strategies which are used by lecturers and how in communicating with their students teaching speaking subject at English Department STKIP Taman Siswa Bima. applied descriptive qualitative method, more specifically classroom discourse analysis. The data were collected from observation audio recorder during one meeting two Muhammadiyah University Makassar, order what ways students. result this showed that there three appeared when activity, they achievement or compensatory strategies, stalling time gaining last interactional strategies. use L1 so easily understand conveyed experience difficulties L2. is due fact still have less knowledge adapted situation following them using much make easier learn English.
